Accessories and Books

□    If an item* is returned within 30 days of original invoice date, we will give FULL REFUND using the method of payment at the time of purchase.  Customer must have receipt or record of purchase on account.

□    If item* is returned between 31 and 60 days of original invoice date, we will issue a GIFT CARD for the full amount** of original purchase price or credit towards another item.

Serialized Equipment (Instruments and equipment with serial numbers)

□    If equipment is returned within 15 days of original invoice date, we will issue a GIFT CARD in the amount of the original purchase price or credit towards a different instrument (neglect, misuse and abuse of equipment voids this policy.) 

□    If equipment purchased from Ray’s Mid-Bell Music is returned anytime because of manufacturer defect, Ray’s Mid-Bell Music will act as liaison between manufacturer and consumer pursuant to individual manufacturer’s warranty policy.  Shipping costs may apply.

□    Serialized items returned 16+ days of original invoice date are subject to our Guaranteed Buyback Policy:

How it works:  You purchase any instrument at a discounted cash price.  We accept cash, personal checks, or all major bank credit cards.  In the event you want to return the instrument, you will receive a refund for the cash price paid LESS A MONTHLY RENTAL CHARGE.  This charge is equivalent to 5% (five percent) of the cash price per month OR $10. (ten dollars) per month, whichever is greater.  A minimum of 3 (three) months rent will be charged.  Instrument must be returned in good condition (normal wear and tear accepted).

*Accessory and book exceptions

□    The following items are returnable only if defective OR unopened/unused.  If these criteria are met, an exchange or GIFT CARD will be issued for the purchased price:  strings, reeds, small/ethnic wind instruments (i.e. recorders and tin whistles), drum heads, drum sticks, CDs, DVDs, Videos, cleaners, polishes, and polishing cloths.

□    Harmonicas are not returnable.  Should defect occur, contact the manufacturer directly for replacement.

□    **Mouthpieces may be returned, but will incur a sterilization/re-stocking fee.  We DO allow a person to purchase two mouthpieces with the intent of choosing 1 (one) and returning the other.  In this instance, the sterilization/re-stocking fee is waived (if in fact 1 (one) of the mouthpieces is kept).

□    Books may be returned but there must be absolutely no writing on any part of the book.  Books with even slight blemishes or “dog-eared” corners are not returnable.
