The Tribute SB2 features a G&L Magnetic Field split coil humbucking pickup in center position, with G&L magnetic field single coil in bridge position for incredible punch and growl. The hard rock maple neck combined with the alder body and G&L saddle lock bridge provides a huge amount of sustain. Other features include custom G&L Ultra-Lite tuning keys and one volume control for each pickup.

G&L’s founder, Leo Fender, spent the last decade of his life lavishing all the knowledge and wisdom he had acquired over the years on the creation of his beloved G&L instruments. He considered the G&L guitars and basses the masterpieces of his lifetime of creativity. Leo worked in his private laboratory at the G&L factory in Fullerton, California, until the very last day of his life and he would not have wanted it any other way. While G&L’s unique and highly desirable instruments continue to be meticulously crafted in the historic Fender Avenue factory, they are not accessible to many musicians.
