It is often said the "beauty is skin deep" but the Dean Edge Bass is clearly the exception to the rule! While beauty was the inspiration of the Dean Edge, Dean put every bit of 20 plus years of design experience into these models. The body is styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood makes them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all other. These basses also feature a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with an asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck.
